1.   Follow up from Transport meeting:

·         Minutes of the meeting had been circulated, and posted on website

·         Steve and Niels to write letter to parish councils in time for Feb council meetings, copied to SCDC, focussing on three areas for change:  speed limits, cycle routes and home zones.

2.   Feedback from meeting with SCDC Climate Change Working Group on Dec 10th:

·         Ken and Steve had attended.

·         Ken planning to attend next mtg of working gp on Jan 17^th.

·         Steve to provide text about HICCA for SCDC magazine; Siobhan to send Steve photographs

·         SCDC planning to organise follow up meeting after 6 months

3.   Report of activities of Climate Rescue Club at the Junior School

·         Club going well.  Full report of activities has been posted on the website.  Hoping to work with a staff member towards better recycling.  Meeting to be held Jan 11^th to plan until end of year and discuss longer term future of the club.

4.   David Mackay meeting 25th January

·         Publicity by email:  HICCA contact list, hisimp, hobblers, infs and jnr schools, Cambridge Carbon Footprint, Zerocarbon, Sust Girton and Dry Drayton Green Gp had been circulated.  Sarah to ask Tennis Club to circulate details; Anna to contact IVC re doing an assembly and also to ask them to circulate details on Parent Mail. 

·         Posters and Fliers:  Siobhan to liaise with Anna and Ken re b&w poster design, and distribute 100 posters and 200 fliers to those at the meeting.  Anna to do shops.

·         On the day;  Niels to bring laser pointer.  Nigel to video record.  Siobhan to minute discussion.

·         Programme:  Anna to chair.  Steve/Niels?  to do 5 mins background on HICCA.  Talk to be followed by general questions and discussion.  Finish 9.15 latest.

5.   Carbon Challenge Course

·         6 week course running fortnightly from Mon Jan 21^st. Facilitated by Hero and Siobhan

·         Publicity by email lists. 

6.   Communicating about Climate Change workshop

·       Siobhan to ask Ro for a Thurs or Fri in February

7.   Plans for coming months

·       Ken to contact Mark Lynas re giving a talk on Thurs Mar 13^th  (Need to check this date possible with IVC)

8.   Funding

·       Siobhan to set up an account with Cambridge Building Society:  Signatories Steve, Suzanne, Siobhan

·       Siobhan to email Denis asking how to approach Impington Parish Council for funds to cover publicity costs for meetings.
